Swimming Lessons
Garrett and Lainie have been taking swimming lessons from this awesome lady, Becky, one neighborhood over. She is strict but loving. Both of them are making amazing progress. Garrett cried most of the first lesson, but Becky sticks him right down in the water and had him swimming to her the first day. It was swim to her, cry and hug, swim to her, cry and hug the whole 30 minutes. Now he is jumping in and swimming to her and can swim to the wall. They are working on floating and rolling over for air. Lainie was jumping in and swimming to her teacher the first day. Garrett even willingly walked to Becky at his last lesson. Usually he's happy to go, but he has a death grip on me when it's time to hand him over to her in the pool.
