Friday night we went to the kids' annual Halloween Party at Mark's parents' house. His mom always has fun activities for the kids to do. They had a blast!
Here they are with their bubbling cauldron of homemade root beer. It was certainly a hit.
They played pin the nose on the jack-o-lantern.
It was an extra special party because the kids' cousin Luke was in town with Aunt Whitney for the weekend. He is getting so big! The jack-o-lantern in the picture is what Mark and Lainie carved together earlier that day in Lainie's kindergarten class. She was very proud of it.
The doughnut on a string game was my favorite. It was pretty funny watching the girls try to get those doughnuts with just their mouths. Uh oh! Looks like we have a couple of cheaters here!

Such lucky kids to live so close to grandparents, great grandparents, aunts, uncles and LOTS of cousins. Lainie is dressed pretty fancy!!
ReplyDeletePatty does a great Halloween party, too. I think those Grandmas over there in that neck of the woods are pretty special. Sue just does it all, doesn't she? I love the donut on the string idea ... might have to try that one over here.
