Halloween Party at Grandma Susie's

Friday night we went to the kids' annual Halloween Party at Mark's parents' house.  His mom always has fun activities for the kids to do.  They had a blast!

Here they are with their bubbling cauldron of homemade root beer.  It was certainly a hit.

They played pin the nose on the jack-o-lantern.

It was an extra special party because the kids' cousin Luke was in town with Aunt Whitney for the weekend.  He is getting so big!  The jack-o-lantern in the picture is what Mark and Lainie carved together earlier that day in Lainie's kindergarten class.  She was very proud of it.

The doughnut on a string game was my favorite.  It was pretty funny watching the girls try to get those doughnuts with just their mouths.  Uh oh! Looks like we have a couple of cheaters here!

  1. Such lucky kids to live so close to grandparents, great grandparents, aunts, uncles and LOTS of cousins. Lainie is dressed pretty fancy!!

  2. Patty does a great Halloween party, too. I think those Grandmas over there in that neck of the woods are pretty special. Sue just does it all, doesn't she? I love the donut on the string idea ... might have to try that one over here.
