We started our 4th of July weekend out with a neighborhood bike parade and BBQ hosted by the Carn family. I was amazed at how much effort the Carns put into this fun event. Man, the balloon arch itself was impressive enough! They had shade tents with tables full of food, bounce houses, shaved ice, the neighborhood fun bus (see picture above, left side of picture), and all our favorite neighborhood people.
We then met up with Stacy and Colby and their kids for their awesome neighborhood golf course fireworks show. This is our favorite 4th of July fireworks outing. Thanks Johnsons for letting us crash your party! We had a great time!
The next day was Sunday and we had the good fortune of having the Perry and Borg Families over for dinner at our house. We had a house full of some of our favorite New Orleans friends and reminisced about our favorite New Orleans memories. Good times.
