Fishing at Silver Lake/A July Day Packed Full of Fun

Grandma Susie put together a fun fishing trip for all the cousins at Silver Lake.

Heading down the boardwalk towards the fishing spot.  It was kind of hazardous with all these kids walking around with fishing poles, some of them with hooks.  They didn't know how to control them.  Brooke's finger got a little bit hooked by one of the kids.  I was seriously scared to be around them!

The kids had a ball and cute Grandma Susie was prepared with everything needed to fish including fishing line, weights, hooks, and a bucket of worms.  The kids were a bit young for this adventure though.  We spent a lot of time trying to ease their frustrations at casting as well as untangling fishing line between poles.

We all went to Incredible Pizza afterwards.

Anna and I snuck away earlier than everyone else to run over to her 3rd grade teacher's wedding reception.  Anna loves Ms. Larsen (now Mrs. Litster) and was so excited to go to her reception.  She had been on  a countdown for the day of the reception.  We got to stay for the tossing of the bouquet.
