Our very dear friends who lived in New Orleans when we did were in town on Saturday. They spent a lot of the day with us. The kids played, the husbands played lots of xbox, and the ladies stole a couple of hours to go to a late lunch at Goodwood. We were all in the same church ward in New Orleans. Amazingly, Shawna and I are in the same ward now (at least for a while). Our fingers are crossed that the Perry family will end up somewhere in Utah too.
Anna and Elle were the cutest playmates when they were little. It never takes them long to become fast friends whenever they get together. This time they occupied their time with dressing this man doll up in a dress and taking funny pictures of him attached to a rocket, laying on train tracks, etc. It actually was pretty clever and humorous. These ladies are two peas in a pod.
I could just steal little Rigdon from Natalie. He is such a happy baby. I love this picture because three-year-old big brother Dallin just carted Rigdon around the house with not a single complaint from Rigdon. They are both adorable. I think Elle, Anna, and Dallin did the babysitting while the moms were at lunch. Anna said she and Elle got Rigdon to sleep and made a bed for him (his carseat with blankets) while we were gone. The dads were pretty busy with xbox;).

Yay! I'm so glad we had this time together. Wouldn't you say it was long overdue? My kids had a great time! I'm so happy Elle and Anna got to reconnect...which they did VERY well! And thanks to Mark and Anthony for holding the fort down, I mean the chairs down! {did they even get off those chairs while we were gone?....I'm not complaining though!}
ReplyDeleteAhhh...here's hoping for a shorter commute between the two of us one day!
love you girl!
