The Big Day Before the BIG DAY!!!

This is what I'm doing right now: charging my Garmin (well really it's Mark's), charging my ipod, and adding songs to it.  To my complete delight, as I finally searched out my Fray CD to add to itunes, hidden in the case, I found an entire Keane CD that we had never put on our itunes.  New music for running is always exciting, and I don't take my music choices lightly.  I'm going through old Pearl Jam favorites too, which I haven't listened to for a long time, like since the nineties.  But I think they'll be an appreciated pick me up on my 26.2 tomorrow.  Yikes.

Emily and I went to the Salt Palace to pick up our race packets this morning.  I felt a literal rush of adrenaline as we passed up the tables for the 5k, half, and who knows what else, and headed for the full marathon table.  It was fear and elation at the same time.  And really, as the day has progressed, I have been absolutely between genuine excitement and complete terror.  It's amazing that tomorrow is the day. I better start getting my stuff all together now that our spaghetti dinner is over.  I hope I can sleep tonight! Please send your prayers and good wishes my way (and Emily's)!  I think I'm ready! I hope I'm ready!
