We went to Soldier Hollow for tubing today. It was a great day. We do this every year after Christmas. Can I say how much easier activities like this are now that Garrett is almost three? So much more doable and enjoyable.
Garrett was not all smiles though. He did okay but was tearful at times. He'd close his eyes going down the hill like he was just trying to get through it. Then once at the bottom he said, "That was fun." But he still didn't want to go again. I think he went down the hill four times and then he had had enough.
Lainie and Ellie were the biggest troopers of all. They had a ball! They were tubing the entire two hours our tickets allowed us to be there. Such cute, adventurous girls!
This looks like so much fun!! It's good you can be together with lots of family. All the cousins have such a good time together. These fun times make for fond memories over the years.
ReplyDeleteI need to make a point to make sure Anth doesn't see this post. Any time he sees snow, and he's not there....it's an instant saddening for him. But it sure looks like you guys had a great time!
