Each July Draper has a celebration called Draper Days. We went to the Draper Days parade last Saturday. While it was no Mardi Gras parade, the kids had fun gathering up candy that was thrown. They collected quite a bag full! This is Lainie and her friend Amber looking at a float our stake made for the Days of 47 Parade. We got a little preview of the float at Draper Days. It was really quite an amazing float! The little people on it moved too. I didn't get a great picture of it.
It was SO hot. Look how flushed Lainie and Amber are.
Thankfully, some geniuses threw Otter Pops instead of candy. It helped cool the kids down.
