Halloween 2010

Dropping Anna and her friend Lila off at a friend's Halloween Party.  Anna is the Mad Hatter.

We did our annual trip to Frightmares at Lagoon.   This time the Johnsons, the favorite and ever-so-popular local cousins joined us!  It was a great day.  Honestly, any outing we are planning, my kids always beg and plead for the Johnsons to come.  It's always more fun with them.  Our kids adore them and I think the feeling is mutual.

We went to Gardner Village and did the "Ride to a Witch." The kids are pretending to eat the plastic cockroaches that were their tickets to board the tractor.

We went to the annual family Halloween party at Grandma Susie's house.

Grandma knows how to throw a party!  Look at all the fun and festive Halloween fare.

Enjoying the bubbly cauldron of homemade rootbeer.

Making mummies.

These glasses are hysterical!

What would Halloween be without Grandma Susie's sugar cookies-and getting to decorate and eat them!

We went to our ward trunk or treat.  Two beautiful witches-Brooke and her friend Marin.

Garrett and some super hero pals.

I could only get one picture of the kids headed out to trick or treat.  They were so anxious and it was freezing, rainy, and windy.  Fortunately, we stuck it out and after about an hour the rain stopped and wind calmed down.

Mark carved our pumpkins this year.  They look awesome.  I did it last year without a kit and they looked like an eight year old carved them.  Who am I kidding, kit or not, mine wouldn't have come out as nice as Mark's.
