Grandpa John comes for a visit
My dad came to visit, as he usually does in late summer. He decided he wanted to go ride the gondola at Snowbird. Of course we invited Justin to come along!
Our family has been to snowbird several times for the Alpine Slide, but we have never ridden gondola. It was SO cool. When people come from out of town in the summer, I will always suggest this in the future.
The view from the top was incredible!
So sad! You can see that Lainie has lost one of her front teeth. That's official proof that she's getting bigger every day. I love those baby teeth and am always sad to see them go.
We enjoyed the view of the beautiful mountainside from this ledge.
This is what we saw.
Lainie's second front tooth fell out about five days later! It was literally hanging by a thread, so I just got it over with and pulled it out. Her permanent teeth are already halfway in. They were ready to make their appearance quickly apparently.
Another day that my dad was here we went downtown to walk around temple square and took a tour of the conference center.
This is from the rooftop. They have gardens and fountains up there. It was beautiful.
This was inside behind a window that has a waterfall running in front of it.
This was taken right before my dad got in his car to leave. We had a fun visit with Grandpa John. He spent hours fixing the tire on Anna's motor scooter. Such a sweet Grandpa thing to do! We love you Grandpa!
